My favourite quote:

"Like water, be gentle and strong. Be gentle enough to follow the natural paths of the earth, and strong enough to rise up and reshape the world".

You can visit the web at: www.olivargran.cat

There are 5 high schools in Figueres, INS Olivar Gran is the most modern one.

We are more than 80 teachers and 800 students.

Here, you can study:

  • ESO: secondary compulsory education from 12 to 16

  • Batxiller: post compulsory form 16 to 18 (before entering the university)

  • Batxibac: the same as the previous one but in French, the students get the oficial certificate of both countries.

  • Vocational studies on Cooking / Culinary industry and management, form 16 and up...

The funniest and weirdest excuse any student could use

"My dog ate my homework"

My dog ate my homework.

It's gonna be late.

I guess that the teacher

will just have to wait.

My dog ate my homework.

He swallowed it whole.

I shouldn't have mixed it

with food in his bowl.

Part of the poem My dog ate my homework by Kenn Nesbitt
